FormFactor, Inc. in Boulder, Colorado is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to support the assembly, testing, installation, and service of complex scientific systems.

You will work from engineering documentation and established procedures while exercising sound judgment to resolve production challenges. The role requires 4–6 years of related experience in precision manufacturing, with expertise in wiring, soldering, cable assembly, and system integration.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Experience in soldering, crimping, cable assembly, and wire harness fabrication.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer installations and service.
• Ability to work from engineering documents with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and integrate electro-mechanical systems per drawings and BOMs.
• Fabricate electrical wiring harnesses and cable assemblies.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Create and improve work instructions and procedures.
• Support installation, commissioning, and service at customer sites.
