Job summary

SARA's High-Power Electromagnetics Division in Colorado Springs seeks a Lab Technician to support rapid manufacturing of assemblies and wire harnesses. You will read drawings, assemble products, solder harnesses, test with oscilloscopes and multimeters, and document results.

Requirements include a HS diploma and 2–4 years in electronics assembly and testing, plus strong teamwork and attention to detail. On-site role with competitive benefits and potential field testing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–4 years of experience assembling electronic devices and wire harnesses.
• 2–4 years of experience testing electronics using oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.
• Ability to interpret engineering schematics and drawings.
• Strong verbal and communication skills working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Read prototype level assembly drawings and assemble the product with minimal assistance.
• Assemble electronics and wire harnesses from prototype level documentation.
• Soldering of wire harnesses and PCBs.
• Test parts and assemblies using measuring devices and diagnostic tools.
• Prepare, conduct, and document tests as required by engineering staff.
• Interact with Engineering team to report issues or improvements to the process.
• Manage inventory, receiving and cleaning parts (approximately 10% of the time).
• Perform miscellaneous build room duties and projects assigned by supervisor.
