Job summary

Blue Origin in California is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Technology & Vendor Management DFX Engineer to own end-to-end evaluation, qualification, and integration of manufacturing tech and supplier partnerships for orbital-scale production.

You will drive DFX across DFM/DFT/DFA/DFR, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate ramp activities to enable constellation-scale hardware with manufacturability, testability, and reliability at scale.

Qualifications

• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
• Experience evaluating, qualifying, and adopting manufacturing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and adoption of manufacturing technologies for satellite modules and subsystems.
• Own vendor and supplier management for manufacturing - including capability assessment, qualification, process transfer, and integration workflows.
• Manage supplier BOM and capacity coordination, technology roadmap alignment, vendor performance oversight, and production line integration.
• Drive supplier first-article inspection, process validation, technology qualification, and manufacturing readiness reviews.
