Job summary

Aether Bio, Inc. is seeking an experienced Program Manager to own the manufacturing readiness stage-gate process, moving new materials from lab to commercial production.

You will lead across R&D, process engineering, quality, contract manufacturing operations, and the commercial team to ensure reliable scale-up and market readiness. You will build integrated launch plans, identify risks early, and refine the stage-gate framework as the product portfolio grows, helping shape how Aether brings

Qualifications

• 8+ years of program management experience in hardware or chemicals.
• Track record of taking products from development to launch.
• Experience shaping a new product introduction or stage-gate process.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct reports.
• Strong systems thinking and organizational skills.
• Experience in fast-paced or early-stage environments.

Responsibilities

• Run stage-gate process from lab scale through commercial launch with reviews and decisions.
• Build and maintain integrated launch plans for development, scale-up, transfer, and readiness.
• Coordinate R&D, process engineering, quality, contract manufacturing operations, supply chain, and commercial teams.
• Partner with quality and process engineering to embed quality into technology transfer.
• Identify risks early, drive resolution, and keep leadership informed of status and tradeoffs.
• Refine the stage-gate process as the product portfolio grows.
