Job summary

Precision Edge Surgical Products Company LLC, based in Angola, Indiana, is seeking a Manufacturing & Quality Engineering Manager to lead engineering and quality functions. This senior role requires directing product development, delivery, and process improvements while maintaining stringent medical device standards.

The manager will drive continuous improvement, collaborate with customers, and ensure shop floor readiness and quality performance in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree highly desirable.
• 10-15 years directing, managing or supervising engineering and quality functions or willing to work with a dynamic individual with fewer years’ experience.
• Experience implementing New Product Releases to manufacturing required.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development, change orders, and production support through the Process Engineers, Programmers, and Tooling.
• Manage personnel to obtain maximum efficiency and meet performance objectives.
• Oversee cost reductions and continuous improvement programs across engineering and quality functions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820 requirements.
• Develop and maintain shop floor inspection systems and supplier quality controls.
• Collaborate with customers to identify and correct product quality issues.
