Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager for AWS Rack Manufacturing in Austin, TX.

You will own factory layout and material flow design across AWS rack fulfillment sites, partnering with capacity planning, automation engineering, construction, and operations to scale manufacturing infrastructure globally. You will drive standards, publish process controls, and lead cross-functional teams to meet throughput and SLA targets while enabling rapid capacity deployment for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years PM experience with software engineering teams.
• 7+ years working directly with engineering teams.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs with release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Translate capacity plans into data-driven factory layouts for EC2, ML, Storage.
• Design factory floor layouts with automation line stations, manual zones, test positions and material flow.
• Develop and maintain industrial simulations to identify bottlenecks and optimize throughput.
• Coordinate power, cooling, network, and utility infra for production zones with facilities teams.
• Manage phased layout plans with milestones and change control across sites.
• Drive continuous improvement and own the layout as a living document.
• Excellent communicator with executives and cross-functional teams.
• Evangelize automation across the organization.
• Multitask on several concurrent projects of medium to high complexity.
