Job summary

Life Extension Company seeks a Supervisor of Manufacturing & Technical Services in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role oversees product formulation and manufacturing, manages internal staff, ensures product integrity and quality, and supports process improvements and new product launches.

You will collaborate with contract manufacturers, provide technical problem-solving, and maintain documentation across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Nutritional Sciences or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in dietary supplement manufacturing.
• 5+ years of dietary supplement formulation experience; familiarity with ingredients, coatings and materials.
• Knowledge of manufacturing cGMP’s and regulatory compliance (21 CFR 111).
• Proven experience providing creative solutions to resolve production issues.
• Basic supervisory skills to manage special projects in a team environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee product formulation and manufacturing, ensuring integrity and quality.
• Lead contract manufacturers and internal staff; manage documentation.
• Review specifications, perform bench work, and support new product launches.
• Analyze formulations for potency and stability; recommend improvements.
• Coordinate RFQs, supplier technical documents, and process modifications.
• Travel up to 30% and supervise pilots and production runs.
