Job summary

C.H. Guenther is seeking a seasoned engineering and facilities leader to identify and execute strategic directions for engineering and maintenance.

You will drive capital planning, equipment optimization, and process improvements to maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness across manufacturing operations. The role emphasizes collaboration with R&D, QA, and maintenance teams, and requires hands-on leadership to implement new processes, manage budgets, and deliver on safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Mechanical, Industrial, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in an engineering or process improvement role.
• Experience with CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of annual and multi-year capital plans and engineering plans for facility management and productivity improvements.
• Manage capital projects from scope writing to funding, tracking costs and timelines, and coordinating installation with production and other departments.
• Lead facilities process improvement activities and teach process improvement methodologies to personnel for continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain annual operating and capital budgets and assist in plant layout planning for better space utilization.
• Coordinate training and development of standard operating procedures for new equipment to meet launch dates and manage vendor/subcontractor relationships.
