Job summary

C.H. Guenther is seeking an Maintenance and Engineering Manager to oversee all maintenance activities, manage the engineering function, and implement strategies to optimize equipment reliability and efficiency at our food manufacturing facility.

You will lead a team of maintenance supervisors and technicians, coordinate with production to avoid downtime, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity while ensuring compliance with FDA, OSHA, and GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance management experience in food manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities; proficient with maintenance management software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and installations to company standards.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment performance and safety compliance.
• Lead and mentor maintenance Supervisors and Technicians; assign tasks and monitor progress.
• Plan engineering projects for facility upgrades, equipment installations, and process improvements.
