C.H. Guenther & Son seeks a Lead Project Engineer who will lead enterprise-wide engineering and PMO initiatives across manufacturing facilities in North America.

The role emphasizes network optimization, capital planning, and operational transformation to improve capacity, reliability, productivity, and sustainability. You will manage high-value capital projects, lead cross-functional teams, develop business cases, and establish governance standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Minimum 7 years leading complex capital projects exceeding $1M.
• Experience managing multiple enterprise-level projects in a matrix organization.
• Experience developing executive business cases and capital investment proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering initiatives supporting manufacturing network optimization and footprint strategy.
• Manage multiple high-value capital and strategic projects from concept through implementation.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, risk assessments, and resource plans.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and achieve expected business outcomes.
• Establish and maintain project management standards, governance, and best practices.
• Prepare executive dashboards and project status reports.
