Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a senior engineering/plant operations leader to drive the strategic direction for engineering and facilities maintenance, ensuring maximum equipment utilization and product quality.

The role involves developing multi-year capital plans, budgeting, and leading capital projects with cross-functional coordination. The position focuses on cost-efficient manufacturing processes, safety policy compliance, and continuous improvement, including training and SOP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Industrial or related field) with 5+ years of manufacturing experience
• Experience with CAD software and process improvement
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for engineering and facilities maintenance to maximize equipment utilization and efficiency.
• Oversee development of capital plans and budgets (annual and 3–5 year).
• Manage capital projects from scope to funding, cost tracking, and timelines; coordinate with production and other departments.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and implement standard operating procedures for new equipment.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and drive continuous improvement culture.
