Responsibilities

• Understand customer’s technical roadmap and manage new customer-specific process development projects.
• Lead development of fully costed manufacturing solutions for multiple customer engagements and gain stakeholder support.
• Identify and manage all new customer-specific process development projects.
• Develop the scope of all technical work, coordinate the team, direct work assignments and assist with problem resolution for the full customer product life cycle.
• Evaluate trade-offs for DFX issues with suppliers, customers, supply chain and equipment leaders to deliver a cost-optimized total manufacturing solution.
• Evaluate potential manufacturing impact for each design concept.
• Evaluate suppliers' capability and capacity.
• Contribute to best practice standards and participate in industry organizations; provide training and application support globally.
• Set yearly plans and goals for the department and oversee performance evaluations and feedback.
