Job summary

Tecomet in the United States is seeking a Principal Manufacturing Engineer to lead the planning, design, and optimization of manufacturing processes across plant operations, driving both incremental and radical improvements.

You will lead projects and teams, collaborate with AME, NPI, and manufacturing staff, and apply Lean, Six Sigma, and TOC to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or related field; 12+ years in manufacturing.
• US Citizen, green card holder or ITAR-compliant work authorization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and project teams to analyze problems and implement cost-saving improvements.
• Optimize layouts, workflow, and equipment utilization.
• Develop and evaluate manufacturing methods with design, materials, tooling and equipment knowledge.
• Collaborate with AME, NPI, NPD, planning and other engineering staff.
• Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements.
• Provide CAPEX planning for new products/process changes.
