Job summary

Sol-Ark in Texas is seeking an accomplished Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in electronics assembly and testing to lead the optimization of assembly and test processes for our power inverters. The role requires a hands-on approach, Lean Six Sigma practices, and strong project management to drive efficiency and quality.

The on-site position at our Allen corporate office requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to introduce advanced assembly techniques and optimize production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of electronics assembly and test process engineering experience.
• Proven track record establishing new electronics manufacturing processes.
• Strong project management experience and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain NPI processes for supply chain and internal manufacturing.
• Lead design and implementation of electronics assembly and testing processes.
• Collaborate with engineering to integrate new technologies and methods.
• Manage projects with milestones, schedules and budgets.
• Evaluate and implement assembly/testing equipment to boost productivity.
• Maintain calibration and performance of equipment.
• Coordinate with sourcing for new supplier readiness of NPI.
• Establish quality standards for electronics assembly and testing.
• Create SOPs and PLM-based documentation for changes.
• Produce process-performance reports and traceability data.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
