Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Owego, NY seeks a manufacturing planning leader to direct MRP, BOM, MPS and warehousing activities within the MSW scope. You will drive inventory optimization and schedule adherence while guiding a team across Make/Buy and SAP-related processes.

The role requires a proven leader with lean manufacturing knowledge, cross-functional collaboration, and SAP/COS proficiency. You will oversee recruiting, performance reviews and a migration-focused effort through end of 2027.

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence/lead people.
Understand lean manufacturing concepts and flow.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage conflicts in a fast-paced environment.
SAP/COS experience and skills, degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years or 8 years with related masters.

Responsibilities

Lead a team responsible for MRP transactions across Make, Buy, BOM planning and MPS.
Oversee warehousing and shipping activities to optimize inventory and cost.
Ensure production systems integrity and drive optimization to meet schedules.
Coordinate subordinate recruitment, training, performance assessment and actions.
