Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Palmdale is seeking a Production Control leader to manage planning, material management, and MRP transactions across Make, Buy, BOM, MPS, Warehousing and Shipping. You will oversee teams in Replenishment Center Operations, Tool Services, Project Tooling and Carpenter Shop, driving inventory optimization and cost reduction.

Qualifications

Supervisory or Management experience.
Experience with Shop Floor Control, Production Control, Logistics or Inventory Management.
Working knowledge of SAP (MRP) &/or equivalent ERP.
Experience with Tool Control/FOD control procedures.
Relevant IT skills, such as data analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple manufacturing planning, material management and support activities within MRP transactions (Make, Buy, BOM planning, MPS, Warehousing, Shipping).
Oversee production systems integrity and drive inventory optimization to minimize cost.
Lead a group of subordinate employees in Replenishment Center Operations, Tool Services, Project Tooling and Carpenter Shop teams.
Coordinate recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, and disciplinary actions for staff.
