Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Planner Associate Manager to lead planning activities that support MRP transactions and coordinate cross‑functional efforts to meet production schedules. You will oversee Make/Buy decisions, BOM planning, and optimize material flow while mentoring staff.

The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement in inventory management and material flow, working with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations to develop time‑phased plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning activities supporting MRP transactions and cross-functional coordination.
• Oversee Make/Buy decisions and BOM planning.
• Optimize material flow and inventory levels to meet production needs.
• Develop and execute time-phased plans with Supply Chain, Procurement and Operations.
• Maintain MRP parameters, lead times, and lot sizes; manage change requests.
• Lead, mentor, and develop subordinate staff; handle recruitment and performance assessments.
