Lockheed Martin in Massachusetts Westford is seeking a Manufacturing Planning and Material Management leader to oversee MRP, BOM, MPS, and warehousing activities. The role emphasizes optimizing inventories, ensuring production system integrity, and coordinating teams across Make and Buy functions.

The position requires proven leadership, experience with Lean concepts, and strong communication skills to drive cost-efficient operations and effective training and performance management.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Production and/or Production Control Experience.
• Experience in MRP Planning.
• Previous Leadership Experience.
• Experience with Lean Concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple manufacturing planning, material management and MRP transactions across Make, Buy, BOM, MPS, Warehousing and Shipping.
• Oversee production systems integrity and drive inventory optimization to minimize cost.
• Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary and recognition/disciplinary actions.
