Job summary

Nokia is seeking a senior leader to partner across factory operations, engineering, cybersecurity, and IT to modernize the OT environment and deliver multiyear roadmaps for resilient 24/7 production. You will govern vendors, lead response for critical incidents, and translate risk and investment recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Regular onsite presence at the San Jose or Sunnyvale, CA factory is expected with occasional travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related discipline.
10+ years of experience in infrastructure or technology operations, with manufacturing exposure.
Proven experience leading infrastructure strategy across boundaries.
Strong knowledge of OT architecture, reliability, cybersecurity, capacity planning, lifecycle management, and business continuity.
Experience integrating MES, data platforms, and ERP systems.
Ability to lead high-severity incident response and communicate risk to executives.
Experience in semiconductor, electronics, telecommunications, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
Experience with OT assets, network segmentation, vulnerability management, zero-trust, and secure remote access.
Familiarity with IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, ITSM.
Experience with hybrid cloud, edge computing, virtualization, IaC, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

Define and execute a multiyear OT infrastructure strategy and roadmap aligned with production needs, cybersecurity priorities, growth, and expansion plans.
Own availability, resilience, performance, capacity, and lifecycle health of manufacturing-critical infrastructure for 24/7 ops.
Establish SLAs, metrics, monitoring, thresholds, and executive reporting to improve reliability.
Lead architecture across on-premises, hybrid-cloud, and edge environments (compute, storage, networking, virtualization, backup, DR).
Partner with Factory Applications, MES, ERP, engineering, cybersecurity, and IT teams to ensure OT requirements are met.
Prioritize infrastructure investments, debt remediation, capacity planning, and risk mitigation; contribute to budget planning.
Lead cross-functional teams and vendors through design, implementation, validation, maintenance, and incident response.
Govern vendors and MSPs through standards, performance expectations, escalation paths, and improvement plans.
Develop and maintain OT infrastructure standards, asset lifecycle, automation, and procedures.
Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments and implement mitigations balancing cybersecurity and availability.
Ensure business continuity and disaster-recovery plans are tested and improved through exercises.
Support audits and Nokia policies and regulatory requirements.
