Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
• Seven+ years of engineering/operations management experience preferred.
• Five+ years of supervisory experience.
• Customer focus and ability to meet customer needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership orientation and mentoring ability.
• Lean/Six Sigma and 5S experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan production operations and establish priorities to serve top customers.
• Prepare operational schedules and coordinate activities to meet specifications.
• Review reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues.
• Inject quality into the manufacturing process and pursue continuous improvement.
• Promote safety, investigate near misses, and identify root causes with solutions.
• Develop and enforce standard operating practices and train staff.
• Coordinate production staff schedules and manage material availability.
• Lead cross-training to increase flexibility and team capability.
• Ensure equipment operation and coordinate maintenance with the team.
• Coach and develop Team Leads and Supervisors to improve performance.
