Job summary

Synthomer plc is seeking a Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing, drive continuous improvement, and manage both salaried and hourly teams. You will partner with technology and commercial teams to ensure safe operations, high quality products, and on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Chemistry, 8+ years of chemical plant experience, and 3+ years supervisory leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Polymer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of chemical plant manufacturing experience, monomer/reactive chemistry preferred.
• 3+ years in a Supervisory role; strong problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead shift supervisors, production specialists and engineers to safe, on-time delivery.
• Drive cost efficiency, quality, and productivity with Lean/Six Sigma tools.
• Ensure SAP data accuracy and adherence to management systems and processes.
