Job summary

Arclin in Springfield, OR seeks an Operations Manager II to lead the manufacturing department, ensure safe and cost‑effective operations, and drive continuous improvement. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will oversee production planning, budgeting, and performance across key metrics.

You will champion Lean Six Sigma projects, develop plans to meet savings goals, and mentor a team while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve on-time results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field.
• 5–7 years of direct management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Certified in Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Lean Practitioner, Green Belt, Black Belt).
• Proven track record of supporting 1–3 LSS projects to closure annually.
• Results-driven leadership with strategic thinking and planning skills.
• Strong KPI understanding and ability to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct the Manufacturing department.
• Collaborate with functional leaders to optimize use of materials, labor and equipment to meet production targets.
• Coordinate production shutdowns/startups for maintenance as needed.
• Meet project objectives in time, cost, and quality parameters.
• Identify and resolve safety concerns and incidents; enforce safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Provide performance management support for direct reports and communicate with customers.
