Job summary

American Ramp Company (ARC) is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations, drive Lean initiatives, and optimize safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. This hands-on role focuses on people development, systems building, and continuous improvement across fabrication and production.

The successful candidate will mentor supervisors, establish clear expectations, manage scheduling and resource planning, and partner with engineering and leadership to support ARC's

Qualifications

• Proven manufacturing leadership experience in fabrication or industrial production.
• Lean Manufacturing principles and measurable improvements track record.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, and ERP/MRP systems.
• Data-driven decision making with accountability and results.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Develop and mentor supervisors and production personnel.
• Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards.
• Drive Lean initiatives including 5S, Daily Management, and Kaizen.
• Improve throughput, labor productivity, and lead times.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to drive performance.
• Coordinate production scheduling, resource planning, and execution.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and reliability initiatives.
• Foster safety, teamwork, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and leadership to support growth.
