Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or demonstrated equivalent through work experience of 10+ years of progressive roles and responsibilities in manufacturing leadership.
• Experience demonstrated in manufacturing leadership, including welding, production equipment, assembly, and shipping/receiving; ERP deployment.
• ERP deployment experience and strong skills with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership for the assigned Department to attain cost, quality and delivery goals.
• Manage all resources and lead the department to achieve schedule and quality targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional areas to resolve issues with urgency and set priorities.
• Ensure proper use of personnel systems and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop employees through effective use of the Employee Management System and provide coaching.
• Lead process improvements and participate in weekly plant management meetings.
• Manage safety, housekeeping, budgets, and preventive maintenance within the department.
• Open/Close building as required for plant production operations and participate in hiring/orientation.
