Job summary

Antora Energy is seeking a Senior Manufacturing & NPI Engineer to lead end-to-end implementation of advanced manufacturing processes, focusing on machining operations and automated material handling systems. You will deploy custom automated work cells, commission new machinery, collaborate with equipment vendors, and establish resilient shop-floor operations to maximize safety, quality, and output.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, or related.
• 5+ years of industry experience in mechanical design or manufacturing engineering.
• 3D CAD modeling proficiency (SolidWorks or Siemens NX) and ASME Y14.5 GD&T drafting.
• Experience writing equipment specifications, managing capital equipment vendors, and commissioning custom machinery.
• Hands-on background in standing up machining processes, CNC programming, workholding, and tooling selection.
• Willingness to be based full-time on site in St. Marys, PA and operate in outdoor environments year-round.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end NPI from concept to equipment bring-up and stabilization.
• Manage capital equipment procurement, drafting specs, vendor evaluation, SAT, and line commissioning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design custom automation and robotic tooling.
• Establish machining strategies and workholding for non-metallic/high-temp materials.
• Execute DOEs to optimize process windows, tool life, and scrap reduction.
• Draft SOPs, work instructions, control plans, and PM checklists.
• Lead RCCA investigations and drive continuous improvement using shop-floor metrics.
