Job summary

SODECIA - AAPICO JV LLC is seeking an Internal Logistics Manager to lead material flow and warehouse operations at our Troy, MI facility, with relocation to South Carolina. You will drive efficient material movement, line-side presentation, and kanban-based replenishment across multiple production cells.

The role requires strong leadership in automotive logistics, experience with AGVs, RFID, and WMS/MES systems, and a track record of achieving high inventory accuracy and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or Business.
• 8–15 years in automotive manufacturing logistics.
• 5+ years leadership experience.
• High-volume Tier 1 or OEM experience.
• Experience supporting robotic welding operations.
• Experience with ladder frame or chassis manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all internal logistics operations supporting robotic frame welding, machining, inspection, e-coat, repair, assembly, and shipping.
• Develop efficient material flow strategies that minimize handling while maximizing productivity.
• Design and continuously improve line-side material presentation.
• Optimize warehouse layouts and supermarket replenishment systems.
• Implement FIFO throughout manufacturing.
• Manage point-of-use inventory.
• Eliminate production downtime caused by material shortages.
