Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (SEL) seeks a seasoned manufacturing leader to guide and mentor senior production teams, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will manage budgets, coach leaders, and drive continuous improvement aligned with World Class Manufacturing principles. Responsibilities include staffing planning, data-driven decision making, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong leadership and coaching experience in manufacturing.
• Lean and world-class manufacturing knowledge with quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coach manufacturing leaders and support groups to align with objectives.
• Accountable for safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity and budget of assigned groups.
• Resolve personnel issues and facilitate fair, productive resolutions.
• Identify staffing and capital needs through data collection and reporting.
• Model SEL values and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
• Understand. Create. Simplify.
• Other duties as assigned.
