Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Santa Isabel, PR is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to lead daily production activities across assigned cells, supervise personnel, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

The role focuses on building high-performing teams, driving continuous improvement, and optimizing production flow in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Onsite, 3rd shift, 9:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., residents of Puerto Rico preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree or advanced degree with relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily manufacturing operations for assigned production cells, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are achieved.
• Manage, coach, and develop manufacturing employees while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor production schedules, prioritize work, and optimize workflow to meet customer commitments and operational objectives.
• Drive quality compliance by ensuring processes, documentation, and products meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Materials, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics to resolve production issues and minimize disruptions.
• Monitor production performance through data analysis, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, process optimization, waste reduction, and operational excellence.
• Support manufacturing innovation initiatives, including automation, digital transformation, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Interface with internal and external customers to resolve production concerns and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and supporting employee engagement and operational excellence.
