Job summary

Toyota North America’s TRD unit seeks a Sr. Manager, Manufacturing to provide strategic vision and leadership for a ~40-person shop-floor team, including Manufacturing Engineering, Production Control and Quality.

The role focuses on equipment ROI, process development, and production planning across a high-precision CNC environment. You will oversee a multi-functional group, drive KPIs including OEE, and champion automation, robotics and AI tools while coordinating with Planning, Design

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations Management; Master’s is a plus.
10+ years in high-precision, automated 5-axis CNC environments.
5+ years in a leadership role overseeing manufacturing teams.
Hands-on experience with process definition, optimization, scheduling, and inspection.
Proven track record in an OEE‑measured environment with a metrics‑driven mindset.
Experience with ERP/MRP and shop-floor software.

Responsibilities

Lead TRD’s manufacturing operation with floor-level engagement and KPI focus.
Oversee Manufacturing Engineering for process definition of TRD components.
Manage Production Control scheduling across two workstreams.
Lead Quality Control for in-house and supplier components.
Evaluate and implement automation, robotics, and AI tools to improve efficiency.
Coordinate with Planning, Design Engineering, Race Engine Build, Commercial Assembly, and EHS on safety matters.
