Job summary

Toyota Racing Development (TRD) seeks a skilled 2nd shift Machinist to setup, operate, and maintain 5-axis CNC machines and automated tooling to produce precision engine components on the daily production schedule.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in a dynamic CNC environment, knowledge of Heidenhain or Mazatrol controls, and the ability to read blueprints and GD&T. This role offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and completion of trade school or AA in CNC manufacturing.
• 5+ years in a dynamic CNC manufacturing environment with operation, programming, and tooling.
• Proficient with 5-axis milling and familiar with GD&T.
• Strong tool knowledge and ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with Heidenhain or Mazatrol controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to optimize machining processes.
• Load castings and materials on designated pallets for 5-axis CNC machining.
• Ensure machines run on schedule and meet quality and OEE targets.
• Coordinate with QC to validate part quality and resolve issues.
• Perform daily maintenance and tool changes as required.
• Document machine issues and data for root-cause analysis.
