Job summary

TRD Toyota Racing Development is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate 5-axis CNC machines in a high‑volume automotive environment. You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, load tooling, and follow SOPs to ensure precision and on‑time production.

You must have 5+ years in CNC manufacturing, knowledge of Heidenhain/Mazatrol controls, GD&T, and strong measurement skills. Competitive salary, benefits, and a 5% travel requirement support your career growth.

Qualifications

High School diploma and/or AA degree or trade school in machining.
Knowledge of 5 axis CNC machine controls (Heidenhain, Mazatrol preferred).
5+ years in a dynamic CNC manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of CNC cutting tools and measuring equipment.
Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints with GD&T.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Mfg. Engineering to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
Diagnose and correct machine tool geometry issues using inspection data.
Follow the production schedule and verify tooling, life, and fixtures.
Load castings and materials on pallets for 5 axis CNC machining in automation.
Maintain machines to meet Quality and OEE targets and document activity.
Coordinate with QC to validate part quality and resolve issues.
Build and verify cutting tools per tool list; ensure 100% tool build accuracy.
