Job summary

Amgen in Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Senior Associate to lead all aspects of a device assembly and packaging line, maintaining production in full cGMP compliance while mentoring technicians and overseeing equipment performance.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, deviation handling, CAPA, and collaboration with Quality, Engineering and Regulatory teams, with a path toward Lean and OE improvements. Amgen offers a Total Rewards Plan and flexible work models.

Qualifications

• High school/GED with biotech/pharma manufacturing experience
• Or Associate’s with 2 years biotech/pharma manufacturing experience
• Or Bachelor’s with 6 months biotech/pharma manufacturing experience
• Or Master’s degree in related field

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations on the production floor and oversee device assembly and packaging lines.
• Maintain machine uptime and troubleshoot automated equipment to meet production schedules.
• Ensure safety, quality and cGMP compliance at all times.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing Support to resolve events promptly.
• Provide training to manufacturing staff on processes and equipment.
• Support CAPA and deviation triage processes and implement corrective actions.
