Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialist Manufacturing I to lead and support planning and execution of key initiatives on the production floor. You will liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure program preparation, implementation, sustainment and lessons learned, while owning quality records and timelines.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 2 years of related experience, with strong emphasis on Lean, Six Sigma, GMP, and data-driven process improvements to maximize plant performance and capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support planning and execution of key initiatives with cross functional teams on the production floor.
• Liaise at the floor and with cross function teams to assure program preparation, implementation and sustainment.
• Own quality records including change control, CAPA, deviations, and deliver to timelines.
• Support AR5 and AR30 manufacturing organizations to maximize plant performance and capacity.
• Collaborate with Quality, Process Engineering, Regulatory, and Process Development to implement process improvements.
• On the floor presence to support frontline managers and maintain procedures.
