Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a Sr. MI Systems Engineer based in Arden, NC. The role focuses on maintaining product line engineering and manufacturing systems, defining requirements, testing, training rollout, and first-level issue support, with a hybrid work arrangement.

You'll work with tools like Bid Manager, MI Manager, Design Automation, DCMS, POM, ENOVIA, MAPICS, AutoCAD, and collaborate across engineering, design and IT teams, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Technology from an accredited institution.
• Three (3) years of experience with engineered-to-order (ETO) products and configuration tools.
• Sponsorship not available for this position; no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or H-1B sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Deploying and supporting Front End Engineering systems for the product line.
• Developing product line training documentation for engineering software/tools.
• Manage MI System issues tickets with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain and improve Front End Systems to meet stakeholders’ needs.
• Provide a focal point for plants to address front end operating system issues.
• Coordinate system enhancement requests to the development manager.
• Provide after-hours/weekend support.
• Participate in product line meetings and continuous improvement activities.
