Job summary

BD seeks a senior finance professional in USA MD - Hunt Valley to own standard product costing, manufacturing variances and inventory analysis. You will partner with plant leadership to ensure GAAP compliance, improve financial controls, and drive cost improvements through data-driven analysis.

Responsibilities include developing standard costs, monitoring capital expenditures, and supporting audits, with strong Excel and SAP/EPM skills essential in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance in manufacturing.
• ERP experience including SAP and EPM.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP).
• Proven ability to improve controls and influence decisions.
• Excellent communication with management at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversees planning, reporting, and analysis of standard product costing.
• Develops standard costs and maintains fixed assets.
• Ensures GAAP compliance and SOX controls.
• Drives cost improvements via gross profit and spending analysis.
• Supports internal and external audits.
• Reviews capital expenditure and lease agreements.
