Job summary

Hyliion is seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering to lead the bridge between design and scalable production for KARNO modules. You will own processes, tooling, documentation, and infrastructure across Cedar Park, TX and Milford, OH while coaching a team of engineers.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering manufacturable, cost-effective solutions in a high‑growth environment. Occasional travel to Milford, OH is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor level engineering degree or higher required.
10+ years core manufacturing engineering experience.
3+ years of direct people management in manufacturing environment.
Experience productionizing prototypes into scalable systems.

Responsibilities

Translate designs into manufacturable, scalable production configurations across sites.
Design, develop, qualify tooling, fixtures and processes for quality and efficiency.
Own PFMEAs, control plans, work instructions, SOPs, MBOMs and maintain accuracy.
