Hyliion is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the architecture of the KARNO generator system, translating customer requirements into actionable specs and guiding validation testing from concept to delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in mechanical/electrical/fluid system design, strong systems thinking, and hands-on leadership within an engineering team. Office environment with production lab exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing mechanical, electrical, or fluid system components.
• Demonstrated experience leading system-level architecture on complex hardware products.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-level architectural design of the KARNO generator system.
• Translate customer/product inputs into detailed technical requirements.
• Plan and lead engineering and validation test efforts.
