Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Rosemont, IL to lead engineering teams, drive cost reduction, and implement process improvements across aerospace manufacturing. This onsite role requires strong leadership and Lean manufacturing expertise.

You will oversee capital projects, mentor teams, coordinate cross-functional efforts with Quality, Procurement, and NPD, and ensure AS9100 compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience in metal cutting, grinding, machining, lapping, honing, or assembly.
• 5+ years in manufacturing automation systems; capable of designing, procuring, and commissioning.
• 5+ years of team leadership/supervisor experience.
• Proficient in Lean, 6S, DMAIC and reporting metrics.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Manufacturing Engineering and Development teams.
• Expose and implement process improvement to reduce cost, lead times, scrap.
• Develop and maintain metrics for manufacturing engineering, development, and programming.
• Oversee key projects for new products and manufacturing processes.
• Lead annual CI and AIP for cost savings.
• Manage Project Management Planner for current and future projects.
• Identify and implement capital equipment to support business priorities.
• Collaborate across Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement, NPD, and Engineering to troubleshoot and implement solutions.
• Support design reviews to address manufacturing issues and capabilities.
• Procure needed expense items to support operations.
• Address DMRs, routing issues, and design changes affecting processes or machines.
• Ensure process competency and audit acceptance of AS9100 clauses.
