Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, in Louisville, KY, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for Basket Fabrication. You will develop and support equipment, processes, and documentation to launch and sustain AP2 washer production, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive safety, cost savings, and quality KPIs.

You will lead standardized work, TPM checks, maintenance procedures, and KPI tracking tools, while supporting continuous improvement across the factory. This is a 100% onsite role.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical / electrical / manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an engineering role with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Leadership experience in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, materials management, quality, procurement, or fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Technical factory representative for washer basket assembly equipment and processes.
• Create standardized work, Maintenance Procedures, TPM checksheets, and training documents.
• Develop KPI tracking tools and support continuous improvement across the AP2 factory.
• Prepare manufacturing areas for factory operations readiness and equipment integration.
• Collaborate with TPM and Maintenance teams on preventative maintenance procedures.
