Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking Manufacturing Engineers to design, develop and implement new manufacturing processes for aerospace products. You will work within Blue Origin Operations across Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality and Mission Assurance, producing hardware for the New Glenn launch vehicle.

Responsibilities include translating designs into flight-ready hardware, assembling tooling and plan artifacts, handling NCRs and driving production transitions with a focus on safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience with MBOM, manufacturing plans and work instructions.
• Knowledge of CAD, GD&T, and common MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering drawings into hardware ready for test and flight.
• Identify tools and equipment for manufacturing flight hardware.
• Provide shipside/lineside manufacturing support.
• Generate and close NCRs.
• Create manufacturing plans, build durations and tool lists.
• Lead continuous improvement for safety and efficiency.
• Transition from development to production and troubleshoot on the floor.
