Job summary

RTX is seeking an Operations Engineer to support the Circuit Card Assembly Factory in Andover, MA. You will operate SMT lines, program automated equipment, and drive process improvements and defects prevention across multiple products.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electronics manufacturing, Lean experience, and capable of obtaining/maintaining a DoD security clearance. This is a 3rd shift role with a 12% differential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Advanced knowledge of solder defect prevention, detection, and assessment to ANSI J-STD-001 Class 3 solder joint specifications.
• Translate engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation.
• Programming for manufacturing automation and fixture/tool development.
• Dispositioning of discrepant hardware and lead root cause investigations.
• Lead process improvement and Lean initiatives to reduce cycle time and cost.
• Conduct safety/ergonomic assessments and partner with cross-functional teams.
• Support circuit card assembly production with process/quality focus.
