Job summary

Doosan Bobcat NA US is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer/Sr Engineering Specialist to act as an advisor to manufacturing, engineering, and purchasing. The role focuses on optimizing safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people through manufacturing process analysis and continuous improvement.

The candidate will oversee production processes, approve changes, justify capital investments, and lead cross-functional efforts to improve MBOMs, routings, and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering or related field; 5+ years experience accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze time and motion, methods, estimating, process engineering and plant layout to balance methods and capacity.
• Oversee factory manufacturing processes for cost, time, ergonomics, quality, and quantity.
• Approve changes and justify capital investments for new processes, equipment and materials.
• Oversee changes to routings and MBOM, train operators on changes.
• Develop budgets and justify procurement of new machines and equipment; manage project spend.
