Job summary

Hubbell's Industrial Controls, located in Archdale, NC, is seeking a dedicated Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to oversee and troubleshoot daily manufacturing processes on the shop floor.

You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and boost productivity while managing costs. The role requires hands-on leadership with CNC and manual machining, fabrication equipment, presses, robots, core machines, furnaces, and molding machines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in a manufacturing engineering role, hands-on shop floor experience.
• Strong knowledge of CNC and manual machining, fabrication equipment, presses, core machines, furnaces, and molding machines.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues.
• Experience with SAP for BOMs and Routers; knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and troubleshoot daily manufacturing processes on the shop floor.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce scrap and increase productivity while controlling costs.
• Provide technical leadership on processes including CNC, fabrication equipment, and automated systems.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and equipment ROI justifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize processes and document work instructions.
• Develop and maintain product test systems; monitor KPIs and data-driven action plans.
