Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer in Dorado, PR, to support production, optimize processes and ensure goals are met. You will monitor equipment performance and collaborate with Quality and R&D to integrate new products into the manufacturing area.

The role requires strong problem-solving, DMAIC/ Six Sigma expertise, and the ability to lead projects and mentor staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 5+ years of related work experience.
Experience in Laser Welding, Injection Molding, Resistance Welding, Mechanical Design, Adhesive Bonding and/or Vision Systems.
Experience supporting manual and automated manufacturing processes (PLC, pneumatics, sensors, HMI, and Software Applications).
Experience in Process Monitoring, Regulatory Actions, CAPA and Audits.
Experience in manufacturing problem solving and process improvement tools such as DMAIC and change management.

Responsibilities

Initiates and completes technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes.
Analyzes and solves problems from complex engineering principles across a wide range of challenges.
Leads production goals and participates in new product development teams.
Mentors employees and may lead project teams and training activities.
