Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Sr. Manufacturing Engineer) to support the Manufacturing organization in optimizing production processes and achieving goals.

You will monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Quality and R&D to integrate new products into operations. The role requires a BS in Engineering with 5+ years of experience, experience with manual and automated manufacturing, and strong problem solving using DMAIC.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 5+ years of related work experience.
• Preferred areas: Laser Welding, Injection Molding, Resistance Welding, Mechanical Design, Adhesive Bonding or Vision Systems.
• Experience supporting manual and automated manufacturing processes (PLC, pneumatics, sensors, HMI, software).
• Experience in process monitoring, CAPA and audits; strong problem solving and DMAIC skills.
• Experience leading and participating in cross-functional project teams; manage requirements, timelines and budgets.
• Fully bilingual (English/other).

Responsibilities

• Initiates and completes engineering activities for new/improved products or processes; prepares reports and communicates findings.
• Analyzes complex problems from first principles to advanced solutions, aiming for breakthroughs.
• Identifies and executes complex engineering work for new product development and production support.
• Leads in achieving production goals; mentors staff and may supervise junior engineers.
• Interacts cross-functionally with internal/external customers; acts as a technical consultant on major matters.
