Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Londonderry, NH seeks a Manufacturing Technician B for a 2nd shift in a cleanroom environment. You will perform varied production assembly, testing on electronic and mechanical components, and troubleshoot failures.

Responsibilities include following instructions, assembling optics systems, using bonding agents, and operating alignment stations. Basic math and readouts are essential for day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of experience.
• 2-year post-secondary/AA degree and 0-2 years of prior experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering instructions and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions, safety rules, and maintenance procedures.
• Assemble, align, and test optics and laser assemblies per procedures.
• Work with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesives.
• Perform fine assemblies with small components, possibly under a microscope.
• Make adjustments while monitoring unit results on a display.
• Operate complex alignment stations and tooling.
• Use oscilloscopes and measurement devices; interpret results.
• Maintain knowledge of electronic, optical, and mechanical assemblies.
• Perform basic computer tasks with provided software.
• Identify and report deviations; support quality inspections.
• Contribute to Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Keep work area clean and safe and comply with safety procedures.
• Apply math skills for calculations in all units and percent changes.
• Foster cross-functional teamwork; participate in safety and EH&S policies.
