Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Relevant experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Experience with new product introduction and process layout planning.
• Proficiency in National Instruments LabVIEW programming and application development.
• Experience with SolidWorks (or other 3D Modeling software).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process capability studies and implement process improvements based on data analysis.
• Design, develop, and implement automated manufacturing equipment and test systems.
• Create, modify, and maintain LabVIEW applications used for equipment control, test automation, and database integration.
• Support manufacturing equipment including LabVIEW, PLCs, various sensors, vision systems, and automated test equipment.
• Develop process documentation, equipment documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on improving cycle time, station utilization, throughput, and quality.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and automation systems. Interface with equipment vendors and integrators.
• Collaborate with other departments to establish process control and validate requirements.
• Support new product introduction by developing manufacturing processes, fixtures, and test methods.
