Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 3 in Saint Augustine, FL (onsite). You will define how products are assembled on the production floor, translate design requirements into manufacturable work plans, and create clear work instructions for technicians.

You will support real-time issue resolution and collaborate across Design, Production, Tool Design, Industrial Engineering, and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering/manufacturing with 4 years' experience; or Master's in STEM with 3 years; or PhD with 0 years.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience reading electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and symbols.
• Experience reading detail, assembly, and installation drawings.
• Experience hands-on in a production assembly environment.
• Ability to work any shift or extended week as needed.
• Ability to work at a computer and traverse the manufacturing environment (tools, stands, ladders, etc.).
• Ability to lift 15 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Translate design requirements into manufacturable work instructions.
• Partner with various engineering and QA to define build processes and tooling.
• Develop and maintain Manufacturing Engineering docs including BOMs and work instructions.
• Identify processes and tooling to improve efficiency and quality.
• Provide technical liaison to production, troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and deliver process training.
• Support site safety initiatives.
• Communicate with leadership, customers, and suppliers.
