Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for an onsite contract in San Jose, CA. The role involves leading equipment build, fixture development with LabVIEW, and PPAP documentation to support repair and new product workstreams.

You will coordinate inspections, create manufacturing work instructions, and set up production lines for repair and inspection while working with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Reading prints (components, fixtures, etc.)
• Strong writing and documentation skills
• Experience with assembly and testing of fixtures/equipment
• Experience supporting manufacturing lines
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments
• Strong ability to independently problem-solve (technical and non-technical)
• LabVIEW or TestStand experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute purchase, assembly, installation, and testing of manufacturing equipment and fixtures
• Develop custom inspection fixtures/equipment including mechanical setup, LabView software development, and machine learning
• Author manufacturing work instructions, inspection procedures, PPAP documents
• Create prints for components used for product repair
• Coordinate and troubleshoot incoming inspection / FAI of product components
• Set up manufacturing lines for product repair and inspection
