Job summary

Symphony Solutions in Anaheim seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with NPI expertise in regulated industries to lead shop orders, routes, and ERP/MRP integration while overseeing electromechanical assembly testing.

The role requires a BS in Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years in regulated environments. You will develop work instructions, maintain shop orders, support qualification and assembly testing, and ensure safety and quality compliance.

Qualifications

BS in Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum eight years of work experience in regulated industries (aerospace, medical, oil & gas).
Proficient with creation of shop orders / work orders / routers for a manufacturing environment.
Experience with a shop floor management system (IFS, SAP, PRISM, ERP, MRP, or similar).
Experience with manufacturing and testing electromechanical assemblies.
Skilled in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Experience designing, building, or testing circuit boards.
Experience with analog, digital circuits, and PCB design.
Familiarity with ARP4754A, D-178C, DO-254, DO-160 and MIL-STD-810.
Familiarity with EMI/EMC testing, environmental testing standards, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Develop manufacturing work instructions and assembly documentation.
Create and maintain shop orders/work orders for production and qualification builds.
Provide shop floor support during assembly and testing.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Support qualification, rework, and manufacturing improvements.
Design or modify tooling, fixtures, and test aids as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
